H. Weeks’ confident debut cassette starts as it means to go on. Combining an industrial dance music sensibility with tongue firmly in cheek, Power Literacy’s “And From The Ashes” turns the concept album on its head with this parodical 5-track EP.

Mining inspiration from cold war history and politics, Power Literacy blends EBM, synth-pop, techno and industrial sound palettes to cultivate a project that resonates with the contemporary socio-political milieu as much as it looks to the past.

The debut release from Power Literacy, “And From The Ashes”, is available via soft verse on Friday 28th June on cassette and digital.
